Director - Sales Enablement/Lifion

The Sales Enablement Leader is responsible for developing, diagnosing, analyzing, & managing Sales Content, Tools and Messaging that align with ADP's strategic goals and objectives. This individual must be hands-on in the development of their individual assets, while also managing relationships in partnership with sales leaders, field associates, and a variety of cross-functional Global Worldwide Sales Operations associates. They are expected to help identify gaps and inefficiencies that impact sales and work towards driving solutions that address their needs. This portfolio of sales productivity assets will play a key role in driving efficiency & effectiveness in the sales process lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for developing enablement content & tools that drive field effectiveness. Assets include, but are not limited to, a wide range of sales support tools from playbooks, case studies, competitive, product fact sheets, ROI calculators, buyer engagement solutions, sales engagement platforms, sales asset management systems & demos. These tools will be packaged, presented & aligned with specific stages of the sales process.
  • Manage large scale projects for tool development and delivery to the field while working with external resources in a timely manner in order to meet specific field related deadlines and goals. * Manage the sales enablement roadmap and content repository and ensure that all information is easily and readily accessible.
  • Assist sales learning team in developing foundational acumen training and assessments to ensure understanding of sales team.
  • Focused on identifying, analyzing & managing the creation of sales tools that align with the Challenger Selling methodology and are mobile ready. This includes spending time in the field on sales calls, team meetings, as well as running focus groups to determine the appropriate level of sales support required to drive sales efficiency & effectiveness at each stage of the sales process.
  • Able to create disciplined processes while preserving the ability to move rapidly. Can balance BU specific requirements, while creating universally accepted and scalable solutions.
  • Possesses the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment of continual change. Must be to able drive change among key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for staying up-to-date and relevant with leading sales enablement & sales automation trends from inside and outside ADP. Must be able to present new ideas, pilot, measure and analyze results and effectively communicate/introduce new selling tools to the field across the ES sales organization.
  • Establish schedules & work with business unit leadership to communicate & coordinate initiative launches.
  • Present best practices establish by other business units & drive standardization & simplification.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Travel Required - 30% Domestic

Experience:

  • 3+ years developing sales content and assets as an IC preferred.
  • 3+ years successful sales experience is a plus (President's Club winner preferred).
  • Must possess strong background & knowledge of HR products & solutions
  • Ability to work with our supporting technology & process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to demonstrate deep knowledge of sales process & sales methodology effectiveness
  • Experience working in matrix managed organization

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills required.
  • Good attention to detail skills; ability to problem solve, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Work independently and interact with various levels of management.
  • Ability to function in a flexible, constantly changing environment essential.
  • BS degree in Marketing & Business Administration or equivalent education & experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Experience developing effective sales enablement content & tools is required
  • Must possess strong background & knowledge of HR products & solutions is required
  • Ability working with or supporting technology & process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to demonstrate deep knowledge of sales process & sales methodology effectiveness
  • Working in matrix managed organization a plus
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills required.
