we need a Director Product Management to help


ADP Worldwide Sales & Marketing Product Development is hiring a Director of Product Management. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, broad technical skills, and experience managing enterprise development and integration projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of technologies such as Salesforce.com, AWS, Oracle Cloud, etc., and experience working with clients to identify their unique needs, then working with the technology teams and the business to develop solutions. Seeking 12+ years of broad experience as a product owner, business analyst, technical project manager, or related role.


The Product Management position involves proactively organizing teams across products to collect customer insights while product and/or market are evolving. You will formulate product strategy and drive go-to-market solutions, obsess over the customer experience journey, and measure product effectiveness -- seeking to continually improve.

Product Strategy:

  • Develops cross product strategies with multi-year roadmaps to align technology to business goals.
  • Partner with product leaders, business stakeholders, and development teams at ADP to shape architecture solutions and direction.
  • Develop user stories while evaluating their potential and practicality by analyzing client need and system architecture
  • Develop thorough understanding of end to end flow of data and purpose of each data element and each process step
  • Synthesize existing flow and processes with future direction and be able to create a delivery roadmap
  • Create and manage the product backlog
  • Conceptualize technical complexity into usable, architectural elements that are compliant with long term roadmap and established standards
  • Create and maintain designs for multiple parallel data flows, processes and methodologies
  • Conduct proofs of concept, development and validation


Customer Experience:

  • Defines and communicates the broader product ecosystem to stakeholders.
  • Proactively organizes teams across products to collect customer insights as products and markets are evolving.
  • Create Storylines, conceptualizing the holistic user experience


Measurable Outcome Focus:

  • Knows which are the most meaningful KPIs to track across products to drive product OKRs.
  • Anticipates and addresses roadblocks in product roadmap & development to keep projects on time and in scope.


Product Leadership and Impact:

  • Proactively organizes teams across products to collect customer insights as products and markets evolve
  • Generates and proposes, to stakeholders, new products and features. Challenges (Engineering) business teams to design suites of products taking them beyond individual solutions
  • Anticipates new features across products, prioritizing them to maximize NPS, retention and unit growth
  • Can speak confidently about the technology used in each product and the associated benefits and drawbacks (challenges)
  • Mentors & coaches peers and lower tenured PMs through deliveries and effectiveness


Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience managing an agile design-driven, user-centered product and development team supporting the delivery of web/mobile based product(s)
  • Hands-on experience with development on the Salesforce Platform
  • Hands-on experience integrating complex systems
  • Understand data transformation best practices

  • Patience and dedication, with the ability to navigate complex environments though product knowledge and leadership style.
  • Able to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas
  • Proven ability to partner effectively across functions, in complex organizations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues simply and convincingly to help drive fast decisions.
  • Experience researching industry trends, usage analytics, competitive pressures and applying to product strategy & roadmap.
