ADP is hiring a Director, Product Management.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy, roadmap and execution of ADP Retirement Services Client Portal experience to compete and grow our marketshare in the mid-up market.  You will work closely with multiple ADP tech teams of developers, user experience experts, ADP payroll product teams, external partners and others, in addition to clients and business leaders, to set the strategic product foundation to achieve market success. You'll also be accountable for something else significant: the uncompromising quality of our products.

 

Your day-to-day will focus on product delivery and innovation with engineers, architects, your product management team, and clients to create easy-to-use, elegant solutions that present a seamless client experience. You will be responsible for taking what you deliver on your product roadmap into the marketplace. You will work with marketing and the sales organization to integrate the products into sales plans and match your growth and market share targets. You will work with the Client Service and Implementation teams to ensure an effortless implementation process and client experience that results in strong client retention. You will collaborate and communicate with Senior Leaders and business partners to gain alignment and a consistent strategy across all markets.

 

To thrive in this role, you must take command of your product, lead multiple team's efforts, and be a deep listener who can ask the right clarifying questions to help understand the problem your stakeholders are trying to solve. You've worked with Agile teams and understand product delivery cycles. You have experience explaining the prioritization of a product roadmap, creating that roadmap, and documenting in a way that both external and internal teams will understand. You have held roles where you regularly communicate and defend ideas to a broad audience of stakeholders. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

 

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

  • Strategy and vision: You'll use your ability to create and deliver a vision and strategy working across functional lines (ADP Retirement Services and Payroll strategy, operations, service, implementation, etc.) and steering initiatives from inception to implementation. You will define product direction and prioritization, balancing long-term strategy, market and competitive trends, and client feedback.
  • Scrums. You'll start each day working with teams to understand responsibilities, identify any issues, and communicate priorities. You'll continue to have meetings throughout the day as you create and organize your roadmap.
  • Research & Requirements. You'll own the design. You'll document and prioritise product features. You're always learning and researching new industry trends to make our products better. You'll incorporate what makes sense into your product roadmap based on our clients, the market, ADP's goals, and what impact the future of tech will have on your products.
  • Relationships. You'll create strong alliances with diverse stakeholders and ensure everyone is in this together and communicates most appropriately. You'll collaborate across multiple teams with developers, other product managers, and UX teams, to name some, to continually drive innovation and make the product the best it can be.
  • Measurement. You have experience measuring product effectiveness, reporting outcomes, and driving priorities.
  • Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be working with UX teams on client experience journeys to delivering new features, product enhancements, or creating new services. Best part? You'll get to see those ideas come to life.

 

Presentations. You'll speak to internal and external stakeholders to communicate and defend ideas while answering critical questions. An advanced degree and FinTech experience is not required but could set you apart. What's more important is having the skills and experience to do the job
