The Director of Sales Enablement, Training and Coaching is responsible for planning and facilitating the delivery of skills training, product knowledge, professional development, coaching, content, processes, practices, and tools needed to support the Engagement Team throughout the customer journey. This role engages both individual Team Members and the broader Team, with a focus on the achievement of assigned individual and organizational goals in support of PLTW's North Star.

The Director of Sales Enablement leads the Engagement Team in building a culture of meaningful collaboration, growth, and development opportunities to support our Team Members in meeting our organization's robust growth and retention plan.

*This role is fully remote and can be based in any state. While PLTW's offices are located in Indiana, our Team Members work remotely across the U.S.

Responsibilities

Lead the Team in adoption, execution, and continuous improvement of all Engagement Team processes, systems, and strategies.

Design and deploy best-in-class onboarding.

Create differentiated professional development systems and opportunities utilizing industry best practices and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across the engagement team.

Collaborate and support the engagement team in achieving aggressive yet attainable goals that meet or exceed forecasted targets.

Coach and lead the adoption and execution of sales and retention strategies and processes that empower team members to manage their portfolios accurately, efficiently, and effectively.

Coach a high-performing Team of customer-centric sales and customer success Leaders and professionals.

Lead the development of a collaborative professional environment that uses protocols, reflective practices, and critical analysis.

Identify opportunities for Engagement Team process improvement. Analyze, develop, and propose solutions to improve existing strategies.

Facilitate alignment in strategies across teams.

Foster collaboration and provide leadership across multiple organizational functions relative to customer success, growth, and retention.

Contribute to sales and retention forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.

Collaborate cross-functionally around marketing, product development and other departments as needed.

Utilize the CRM to monitor and report on team progress and adoption of systems and processes.

Monitor the competitive landscape, trends, and opportunities.

Consistently demonstrate professionalism, expertise, and service to others.

Other duties as assigned.



Knowledge

Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or equivalent work experience required

Preferred experience with PLTW programs (either as a PLTW Team Member, Teacher, Master Teacher or Administrator)

Skills and Abilities

Highly skilled at designing adult learning experiences (e.g., coaching sessions, small group meetings, large group training, workshops, and webinars)

Confident and skilled public speaker and facilitator in person and virtually

Demonstrated experience implementing or directing impactful sales initiatives

Ability to work both independently and as an effective member of teams

Deep knowledge of the customer journey and proven success in meeting targets

Project management and organization skills

Technologically savvy, metrics-driven, strategic and analytical, strong business acumen

A dedication to learn, grow, and develop as a professional

Strong understanding of professional development, mentoring and coaching

Ability to give and receive constructive feedback

Passionate about team member and ultimately customer success

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to take initiative and work proactively
