The User Experience (UX) team is within the Digital Platform and User Experience (DPUX) group and is part of the Information Technology (IT) organization. We are structured around portfolio and product groups with an overarching UX operations layer, and we are looking to add a UX Strategist to our team.

This job is a member of the User Experience (UX) team. The UX Strategist must have a passion for user-centric experiences and establishing UX as a practice within an enterprise. You’ll be responsible for identifying strategies and processes that will allow the UX team to deliver at scale as well as document, maintain and advocate for design standards and UX best practices.

What you'll do

  • Advocate for and support user-centric vision and UX strategy across portfolios
  • Maintain UX tools and tactics such as: design system, insights repository, research lab and tools
  • Collaborate with others to document standards, best practices and tactics for Product Designers
  • Provide direction and consultation on UX methodologies to delivery transformed teams  
  • Support UX Managers and mentor Product Designers across portfolios to ensure products are aligned to standards and best practices
  • Work with cross-functional teams using agile methods to define user stories and UX deliverables.
  • Collaborate with developers to find the most effective and efficient ways to implement solutions
  • Deliver product design work within your portfolio.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in visual communication/design, interactive design, human computer interaction, or other related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a UX practitioner with strong depth of knowledge in their discipline with cross-disciplinary breadth of knowledge
  • 3+ years of experience working closely with inter-disciplinary teams an agile environment


Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences or other related discipline, or equivalent experience    
  • 5+ years of experience as a UX practitioner with strong depth of knowledge in their discipline with cross-disciplinary breadth of knowledge
  • 5+ years of experience working closely with inter-disciplinary teams an agile environment 


Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Relentless focus on the customer
  • Passion for innovation and advancing their craft 
  • Proven ability to mentor others while supporting and facilitating UX as a practice at scale
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines, product lines and roles
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong skills in modern design and prototyping tools (Figma, Zeplin, Flinto, Adobe CC)
  • Strong depth of knowledge in the fields of UX research, design and / or information architecture along with cross-disciplinary breadth of knowledge
  • Strong foundation in UX best practices and user centered design principles and a solid grasp of trends in web and app design
