SimSpace is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help shape, position, and promote our advanced cyber simulation products and services using our advanced cyber range technology. Our solution helps to reduce risk for organizations through cyber security testing, training, assessments, red vs. blue exercises, and tool development.

We need a Product Marketing Manager who is go-to-market- and customer-focused, with an eye to both technology and business value. Our Product Marketing Managers connect with customers, prospects, and thought leaders to uncover user and market needs, as well as competitive capabilities. This position will then partner with sales, marketing, product, and customer success to crystalize our message and communicate our value proposition and differentiation to the market.

SimSpace is seriously disrupting the status quo for cybersecurity risk and readiness. We're technically still a start-up, but we successfully sell and deliver our products to large enterprises and government customers. You will:

  • Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of products, market/industry/competitive trends, and consumer needs through ongoing research.
  • Craft, maintain, and improve content (datasheets, solution briefs, case studies, etc.) for SimSpace's go-to-market teams to leverage effectively building a funnel and converting prospects to new customers.
  • Build a blog process that routinely delivers timely product information and industry insights
  • Leverage simspace.com to build a pipeline for product marketing deliverables, including blogs and webinars
  • Help build a web channel (YouTube) video resource for SimSpace content
  • Drive and coordinate competitive research, and translate that into insights for our product strategies and effective enablement materials for our go-to-market team
  • Understand the buyer experience and create buyer segmentation to facilitate sales targeting, as well as customer retention and growth
  • Be the primary interface for Product to connect with go-to-market and customer-facing teams (customer success, operations, sales, strategic partnerships, etc.) to ensure these teams are enabled for success around our product offerings
  • Align stakeholders around product launches and messaging plans
  • Partner with passionate teams of product managers & owners, software developers, designers, sales, marketing, and product support

You are a good fit if you have:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in a Product Marketing Management, Product Management, Marketing, or Technology Strategy role and/or in a Business Strategy or Consulting role
  • Experience working on enterprise products within Cloud, SaaS, and on-premises for enterprise companies
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Ability to clearly define success and ability to drive to get things done
  • A focus on understanding customer needs and on driving a positive experience that enables our customers to be successful
  • Ability to describe complex topics in a clear, concise manner
  • A strong sense of pride in creating product team outputs
  • Ability to be a highly motivated self-starter that is accepting of other perspectives and operates effectively in a team
  • Curiosity about new technology and a strong desire to learn
  • Ability to work out of our Boston office (post-COVID) strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Cyber Security or Information Security preferred
  • Experience working with remote teams is a plus
