SUMMARY

The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for purchasing, optimizing, and reporting across paid platforms. Partnering with the VP, Media and Member Experience, the Digital Media Specialist executes the daily responsibilities associated with digital, and some traditional, media buys, digital campaign management, and marketing automation initiatives.

The role drives and supports metrics including return on investment (ROI) of media budget, key performance indicators (KPIs), lead management, pipeline management, new member acquisition, and campaign and website performance.

Any individual who meets the definition of a mortgage loan originator and is employed by a federal agency-regulated institution will need to be registered on NMLS. Ensures compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance, USA Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage digital and traditional media strategies along with audience personas, utilizing market research and existing member profiles.
  • Execute the daily digital media planning and buying in online advertising platforms, including search ads, display ads, video ads, app ads, and local ads.
  • Execute user experience testing (e.g., A/B testing) to enhance media placements, creative execution, and landing page engagement.
  • Generate qualified leads and optimize paid media efforts with the goal of new member growth and retention.
  • Lead website content updates, email updates, social media updates, and reporting for the platforms.
  • Report media measurement, performance, and reporting while improving campaign and media performance.
  • Evaluate end-to-end member experience across multiple channels and member touch points.
  • Manage daily partnership with agencies for strategy, creative, messaging, and media execution.
  • Evaluate emerging media, digital, and web technologies.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the media industry including digital, video, social, radio, and out-of-home marketing.



Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelors degree
  • Four to six (4-6) years of digital media buying experience or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of website content management systems (e.g., Umbraco), email platforms, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong analytical, attention-to-detail, multitasking, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace, results-oriented environment, while meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Proficient in web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), online advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads), and other media and reporting platforms.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
