    The Development Manager will cultivate, solicitate, and steward a portfolio of both existing and new corporate partners, individual donors, corporate & government grants, and special events in the market to achieve revenue goals with the direction of the Senior Manager, Development.

    Primary responsibilities will include management of local fundraising events, including but not limited to Kidney Walks, Galas and Golf outings. This position will assist the market in logistical event support, CRM and event platform management, email and social media marketing, vendor contracting, and budgeting.

    A successful candidate will work as a team player to drive growth to achieve our mission and revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with an ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and achieve results in a team environment.


    • Cultivating, soliciting, securing, and managing corporate sponsorship, individual donors, and community partners
    • Help build and manage volunteer leadership committees
    • Support ongoing community outreach strategies and year-round recruitment and cultivation programs to develop prospect pipeline.
    • Assist with logistics, production, budgeting, and evaluation of virtual and in-person events
    • Support maintenance of event budgets, financial reports, and records.
    • Create content for marketing and communications calendar.
    • Performs additional duties as required.


    • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
    • 3-4 years of non-profit, fundraising and/or sales experience preferably with a non-profit health agency.
    • Experience managing peer-to-peer fundraisers and industry best practices
    • Customer service experience, specifically with corporate sponsors/partners
    • Proficient in CRM and Project/Event Management Systems (Salesforce, Rallybound, Asana, Slack, etc.)
    • Self-starter able to work well in a team driven environment and delegate to accomplish goals.
    • Effective organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
    • Ability to work some evenings and weekends.


    Must have unimpeachable integrity and
    trustworthiness and possess a high degree of tact, discretion and
    professionalism. Verbal and written communication skills will be used daily.
    Maintains effectiveness under pressure. Uses a multiple line telephone,
    personal computer, fax machine, photocopier, and other standard office
    equipment. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Must have a valid drivers license and
    own insured vehicle or daily access to a vehicle. Flexible for business travel
    including overnight travel. Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed.
