The JPMorgan Chase Institute seeks an economist with superior skills in quantitative social science techniques and data science to lead and conduct research using administrative data from consumer and small business financial products, including checking, credit card, mortgage, and brokerage accounts. Working with a collaborative team of research professionals, this individual will drive impact by leveraging proprietary big data to generate insights into economic dynamics and policy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economics or another quantitative social science; experience in statistics, data science and /or computer programming; have an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset, and be a strong communicator.
