The Data Domains Team within Financial Analysis (FA) is working to build scalable, end-to-end data products that enable centralized, self-service data sourcing through an array of consumptions patterns optimized for Planning and Analysis (P&A) functions.

About the job:

The Data Product Go-to-Market role is to lead the Onboarding and Customer Success activities for the data products we provide to our customers. They design and execute the business processes for data domain governance, data usage compliance, data quality and readiness. The team engages directly with data customers to enable them to succeed using the data platform by providing training and assistance. The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day project delivery, as well as maintain relationships across multiple levels of the firm.

The team is tasked with defining the processes and executing them by coordinating with senior management and stakeholders across FA, Corporate Technology, and LoBs. The Team partners with Corporate Technology, Product Managers and the Data Modeling team to ensure quality delivery of solutions by leveraging an Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC).

What are we looking for?

  • Driving Customer Success: Partner with peers and product managers across Finance, with Technology counterparts, and with data consumers to design and execute business processes that enable consumers to access the data that supports their analysis and decision making.
  • Delivering Data: Oversee data onboarding and delivery to ensure they are aligned to controls and governance policies, as well as client requirements and ensure data quality.
  • Communicating Effectively: Commercial mindset with excellent communication skills, assertiveness and ability to navigate a matrix organization. Experience in influencing and negotiating, pushing for consensus and coming to collective agreement on processes and governance models. Develop a communications strategy to market the product
  • Reporting Status: Provide on-time and accurate reporting, as well as ongoing updates to all project team members and notify all stakeholders on data readiness and quality.

We are looking for an outstanding product manager with experience in working in a matrixed organization to build the next generation of digital products and services on our Digital Platform.

  • MS/MBA degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years™ experience in the Product Management / Transformation discipline delivering data products, market/user research, project management and working with senior stakeholders to extract whatever is necessary to get a solid understanding of what needs to be built
  • In depth knowledge of Finance & Business Management data, processes and functions, including budgeting, forecasting, actuals processing, allocations, and all related execution tracking
  • Experienced working in a product-centric culture driven by an organized process of product decision making; ability to create impactful and commercial products and advocate these Product Management principles with all types of audiences
  • Able to review/analyze existing data strategy and consumption processes and recommend improvements - push the status quo and able to strategize, plan and execute on new vision
  • Highly motivated and eager to roll up your sleeves to make things happen
