This role will be aligned to the Intelligent Solutions (IS) Team within Control Management. We will ask the candidate to challenge the status quo and support the overall governance. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with advanced skills in strategy and problem solving as well as strong influencing, interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will have a business mindset and a strong background and proven ability to deliver coordinated analysis of issues and determination of business impact. The candidate should have experience understanding of software development practices and the growing toolsets being utilized by citizen developer™s Individual responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Governance and programmatic support across the function
  • Preparation for key control meetings including BCM, Sub/BCM and monthly governance forums
  • Ensuring consistency in approach across the function and regional teams
  • Provide control related subject matter expertise for relevant projects driven outside of the organization
  • Establish new and enhance existing governance
  • May assist with identifying gaps in policy, procedures, and job aids
  • Business Operations Support Provide ongoing hands-on support for critical IS operations functions within the team. This includes business processes related to IS control oversight and management, IAHUB Hygiene, System UAT testing, and the ability to drive change in processes, procedures and associated technology
  • Process Management Manage and document processes based on firmwide guidance

You will have the opportunity to do work across the AWM and CCB businesses, gaining exposure to a broad foundation of business functions. We will ask you to apply your fresh perspective and propose a solution perhaps we hadn™t considered. We will encourage you to research, reach out to business partners and work independently, all while offering support whenever you need it.


Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • Bachelor™s Degree in a Business related discipline (Finance, Accounting, MIS, Business Analytics,), or related discipline
  • 3 years of business operations, data analysis. or risk/control management; technology risk/control experience evaluating complex business problems, data analysis and devising recommendations and implementing solutions
  • Advanced MS Office skillsets including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Knowledge of citizen developer toolsets and ideally development practices
  • Strong issue resolution problem solving and analytical skills
  • A passion for data analysis, continuous learning, and professional development
  • A curious mind that prefers to go deep to understand details
  • A positive attitude and team spirit with exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • High degree of professionalism, self-motivation and sense of urgency
  • Previous experience in strategic and tactical initiatives: Ability to identify problems and propose solutions
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to directly address conflicts and escalate issues where appropriate
  • Strong communication skills verbal, written and technical (e.g., PowerPoint). Ability to present concise, direct and timely communications to executives, management and key partners; strong presentation skills is essential
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to shift perspective from high level 'big picture' to low-level detail
  • Partnership and relationship management: must have ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with numerous teams and key stakeholders
  • Ability to be flexible and follow tight deadlines; provide clear and concise solutions constrained by tight deadlines
