The Home Lending (HL) Planning & Analysis group supports the HL Production Chief Financial Officer and the Consumer and Community Bank (CCB) Planning & Analysis organization. The group partners with senior Finance leaders and their teams across the HL business and serves as an analytical and reporting resource to help leaders understand and manage all financial aspects of the business.

Successful candidates should have about 5-8 years’ experience in financial analytics. The candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and enjoy handling complexity. Our team must be agile in supporting a dynamic business, and we are looking for people who thrive in this work style.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform analytics related to P&Ls, forecasts, budgets and key performance indicators
  • Partner closely with the business to gather information, synthesize inputs and create value added analysis to understand/communicate key business drivers
  • Play a key role in execution of weekly and monthly forecasts, monthly close process, and annual budget process
  • Manage Business Reviews, ensuring key strategy, financials and other priority items are communicated effectively through the firm
  • Partner with Dashboard team to develop dashboards with meaningful information, clean and artful design with a customer experience lens
  • Contribute to externally presented analytics including quarterly earnings documents and investor related questions
  • Conduct and problem solve ad-hoc financial analysis based on senior management requests
  • Drive the improved integration of reporting/data, forecasting, and analytics across HL line of businesses through process improvements and automation
  • Work closely with key partners, subject matter experts and senior stakeholders to develop and syndicate key content and ensure communications are consistent for Production channels and through the Firm


  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills with relentless attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to communicate well to senior leaders
  • 5+ years financial planning, reporting or consulting experience, preferably in an analytical or forecasting capacity
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with inquisitive, curious and process improvement mindset; innovative thinker with the ability to derive, formulate, and develop new concepts, processes and value added activities
  • Ability to make decisions based on limited available information, adaptable to constant change and manage ambiguity
  • Strong team player and contributor to great team culture
  • Ability to identify key issues, gather and analyze data to support hypotheses and develop actionable recommendations
  • Flexible in his/her work style, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders
  • High degree of analytical aptitude and curiosity with skillset including Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Essbase and PitchPro a plus
