Job Description

This is NOT a traditional sales job. This is a job for a commercially focused entrepreneur who wants to be part of changing complete industries with cutting edge networking and security technologies, leveraging the weight of Intel Corporation and our partners.
The role operates in an expert sales function that enhances and supports our partner- and end user account teams with deep expertise and dedicated focus on Cloud based Networking and Security.


Background:
Networking and security workloads are rapidly moving to the cloud creating new deployment- and business models. Intel is supporting this move with silicon and software innovations, reference platforms and complete solutions together with our partners. In this transformation there is need for trusted advisors that provide guidance for end users and partner companies on how to build and consume these solutions. This role will be at the tip of the spear in the market advising end users and partners how to make best use of the huge opportunities that hybrid cloud based networking and security brings. The role will work in lock step with our Enterprise and Cloud Networking Division to provide input into product development and make recommendations about lighthouse engagements as well as scale requirements and execution

The team - NCS Global Solutions and Scale (part of the Data Center Sales group)
WHO WE ARE: The team consists of highly experienced technical and commercial professionals who maintain and foster relationships with recognized industry leaders and internal stakeholders
WHAT WE DO: The scale team enhances the capabilities of existing OxM, ISV and SI partners and account teams to accelerate and scale the deployment of commercial Intel based networking and security solutions at Enterprises and Telco end users
HOW WE DO IT: The team collaborates closely with account- program- and BU segment owners to deliver consumable and scalable partner solutions thru co-sales targeting Enterprise and Telco markets. The team is involved through the entire scale process from definitional deal support to pipeline fulfilment via solution and campaign creation


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Self-starter and hands on doer with leadership qualities
  • Technically savvy in Enterprise networking and security with Relationships in the partner ecosystem
  • Familiarity with new terms like SASE, CASB, RBI as well as fundamental technologies like IPsec and MCN is critical
  • Strong understanding of cloud based deployment models and service offerings
  • Strong communicator and collaborator
  • BSc / MSc
