Function Overview

Party Reference Data Operations team supports compliance and manages and maintains reference data to ensure that our customers, employees, and lines of business are in adherence with firm standards and required regulations.

Quality Assurance team is responsible for performing periodic testing of the Reference Data Operations activities to assess adherence to established procedures and controls. QA is performed after completion of the process or activity in scope. QA team independently selects the samples, tests and provide the results to the management to drive the action plans which can be to reevaluate and update the operational controls, procedures or specific set of samples. QA results are shared on a monthly basis to the management team to bring in transparency on the overall functional control and adherence by the operations team

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing Quality Assurance checks for processes in scope
  • Resolving QA related queries
  • Ensure teams adherence to the QA testing program
  • Managing team to develop, motivate, and lead them effectively
  • Be proactive in identifying process and knowledge gaps, and effectively manage escalations
  • Prioritize and manage project requests in conjunction with BAU requests
  • Conduct and record weekly team meetings and raise all best practices
  • Identify opportunities for increasing operational efficiencies
  • Display an appreciation of control, quality and risk related issues. Ensure existent controls are followed by team
  • Interact and communicate with the Operations team on improving the process and it™s standards as well as manage their expectations
  • Manage training needs of the team along with ensuring completion of the mandatory targets
  • Provide Monthly Performance Metrics
  • Assist in projects on data interfaces between systems such as defining project scope, data requirements and sources/resources
  • Ensure updating of SOPs/Job Aids
  • Participate in special projects revolving around data clean-ups, process improvement analysis and reporting to plan & estimate efforts during analysis & requirements gathering phase
  • Convert business problem statements into cost effective, scalable, reliable & user friendly solutions
  • Highlighting discrepancies in processing data to ensure consistency between global locations

Minimum Qualifications

  • University Graduate
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services or related industries with preferably in Quality Assurance
  • Strong knowledge in reference data management
  • Effective team management skills
  • Experience with digital solutions such as Alteryx, UIPath, Tableau, Collibra
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage global partners and requestors
  • Controls and innovation mindset
  • Good People Skills and ability to drive energy levels within the team
  • Good Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
  • Excellent Time Management Skills and highly result oriented
