Sr. Associate Central Taxonomy

The Sr. Associate of Central Taxonomy is responsible for connecting and classifying these cross-channel events using a common naming convention. We are looking for an experienced data-driven taxonomy specialist that will help deliver on the enterprise-wide taxonomy approach. This role requires close interactions across various functions of the company.

Activities include:

  • Help deliver on taxonomy-related product roadmaps that support the overall Real-time Analytics strategy and vision
  • Ongoing taxonomy maintenance, automation, and program initiatives
  • Work with line of business partners to understand and document new data generated by their interaction system and incorporate these new events into the central taxonomy
  • Establish processes, document methodologies, benchmarks, and key learnings for Central Taxonomy team
  • Work cross-functionally with peers in technology, product, and other critical functions to develop a holistic view of performance and growth opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of cross-functional product or business analyst experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge around taxonomy and data modeling concepts
  • Proven critical analytical and strategic skills, including the ability to quickly assimilate new information.
  • Some experience developing content metadata standards, hierarchies and controlled vocabularies that provides access to content solutions, power search and personalization features.
  • Inspiring team leadership and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on transparency, fostering teamwork, promoting exceptionalism, and modeling high integrity
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines, and perform at high standards with limited supervision
