Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves consumers and small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-lines of business to identify, assess, prioritize, and remediate risk. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others.

The CCB Credit Forecasting India Site Lead is a highly visible role responsible for creating a pipeline of analytical talent, championing the growth and development of the local team members, and driving continuous improvement across the forecasting processes. The successful candidate will be an exceptional leader with strong financial and risk management acumen who can manage across a global team. The individual will have exceptional communication skills, capable to influencing others and articulating complex analyses in simple, business terms. The person will exemplify a continuous improvement mentality to enhance the efficiency of the process and quality of insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion of talent, both locally and across the global Credit Forecasting team including recruiting, on-boarding, and growth and development within credit forecasting, as well as long-term career development within the larger risk organization and JPMC
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement and enhance the existing platform via automation or new technology to deliver faster, deeper analytical insights
  • Drive thought leadership across the sub-lines of business and CCB regarding processes, execution, and controls
  • Become a subject matter expert in the CCB lines of business including a deep understanding of the products, credit loss and macroeconomic drivers, and forecasting methodologies

Qualifications:

  • Master™s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative field
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in finance, risk management, forecasting, or senior analytics role
  • Exceptional people management skills; sets and communicates goals; measures accomplishments, holds people accountable and gives useful real time feedback; develops and delegates well; keeps people informed; provides coaching for today and for the future and can inspire
  • Excellent consulting, influencing and negotiation skills to build strong, positive, and cohesive partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Strong judgement / decision making, professional maturity, proactive, has the confidence to challenge the status quo and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Ability to attract, retain, and promote a diverse, inclusive, and talented team of professionals
  • Control/efficiency mindset
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
