As a Control Manager, Executive Director within the CCB D & A Control Management Organization, you will be responsible for setting the strategy and framework for the tactical assessment of CCB Data. The successful candidate will manage a team of control managers responsible for designing, developing, and creating test plans and requirements along with the execution of detailed test cases. Additionally, develop a strategic roadmap and related activities designed to optimize data quality to assess the impact on business outcomes. Moreover, you will manage a team who assists in control design & evaluation, to identify control issues, engaging key stakeholder to discuss root cause analysis outcomes.

Through a measured approach, the CCB D & A Control Manager, Executive Director is ultimately responsible for assessing the veracity of the data used to identify risk and control opportunities that impact business outcomes. There will be a heavy focus on cross-Line of Business (LOB) partnership across multiple functional areas.

. Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes complex business requirements and creates the framework for control managers who develop test cases
  • Responsible for verifying and validating data from source systems; maintaining a database test automation library
  • Establishes benchmarks for program efficiency in operating and response times to resolve issues identified
  • Innovative though leader that collaborates with data scientists and product teams to create a best in class data assessment control environment
  • Communicates accurately the status and risks identified through testing to Sr. Management
  • Responsible for a team that create and execute automated test scripts using software programs
  • Contributes to the establishment of standards and procedures for testing
  • Manages a team that is responsible for documenting, tracking, and communicating test plans, test results, analysis, and unresolved problems
  • Leads individuals who develop computer programs to test, track, and verify data anomalies
  • Oversees a group of individuals that creates detailed database test automation scripts capable of validating schemas, data elements and advanced calculations
  • Synthesizes a D & A test strategy and plan that adequately covers CCB Control Management data & analytics assessment requirements - turning analysis into actionable insights and plans
  • Develops high-level test scenarios that implement strategies and scenarios into detailed test cases.
  • Engage with control colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators and technology control functions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor™s degree in computer science, statistics, information systems or related discipline
  • 7+ years of financial service experience in performance management, audit, data quality assurance, data collection management preferred
  • Knowledge of control and risk management concepts with the ability to design, create, and evaluate data quality in conjunction with business partners
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Visio; advanced Excel and Access skill required,
  • Extensive experience with database testing specializing in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and big data operations.
  • Experienced professional with knowledge of software testing principles, tools, methods and processes that detect the presence of inadequacies in data
  • Experience in Python Scripting and advanced structured query language data base administer (SQL DBA) level data analysis skills
  • Experience with Defect/Project Management Tools, preferably Jira
  • Understanding of data analysis, data modeling, database design, data migration and business intelligence solutions
  • Proficiency with database test automation frameworks
