Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) drives all of Citis financial planning and management reporting processes and supports senior management with analysis and insight into financial performance. Through this analysis, the team facilitates decision making at a senior level to drive performance in each of Citis products, regions and global functions, and communicate effectively with shareholders, the Board of Directors, regulators and analysts.


The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citis financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The CBNA FP&A Lead reports to the Global Head of FP&A and directly supports the CBNA CFO. This role manages a high caliber team responsible for driving analysis specific to the CBNA legal entity including standard financial reporting, operating metrics, as well as other specific initiatives related to legal entity management.


This role works closely with Finance partners across GCB, ICG, Treasury, Tax, Capital, EO&T and Global Functions. This role is tasked with generating strategic insights backed by well-grounded analysis and delivering them concisely for the CBNA CFO and other members of the senior management group. Deliverables include, but will not be limited to, regular (monthly, quarterly) analysis of results and preparation of near team forecasts. The team also manages CBNAs annual operating plan, and three-year strategic planning processes, and provides oversight for the annual DFAST exercise, to drive the long-term performance of the company.


**Key Responsibilities**


+ Drive content for the monthly and quarterly reviews of CBNA performance for CBNA CEO, CFO, Board of Directors, and Regulators


+ Build relationships with Finance partners supporting GCB, ICG, Treasury, Tax, Capital Planning, EO&T and Global Functions. Closely monitor key business drivers and metrics to help construct the performance and forecast narratives for the CBNA legal entity.

+ Drive CBNA focus within the regional and product teams regarding reporting and analysis of financial performance with a legal entity lens. Coordinate with and provide support to the teams in preparation for regular business reviews. Prepare/present to senior management and stakeholders on using metrics to evaluate and influence legal entity business decisions.


+ Oversee the accurate submission of multi-year forecasts and all related analyses and presentations in collaboration with regional and product FP&A and Risk partners

+ Partner with regional and product FP&A and GPOs to drive process changes to enhance the efficiency of the financial reporting cycle and increase the value provided to management

+ Engage in targeted analytics at the request of senior management and prepare summaries to be effectively communicated to stakeholders

+ Lead the preparation of responses to OCC/regulatory requests and coordinate Citi participation in planning reviews


+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


**Qualifications:**


+ 15+ years of relevant experience

+ 5+ years of managerial experience

+ Experience in financial services

+ Demonstrated financial modeling skills with the ability to drive top down strategic and operational plan

+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

+ Ability to build and maintain relationships and interact at all levels of an organization

+ Demonstrated leadership skills

+ Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills


**Education:**


+ Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience

+ Masters degree preferred
