The Middle Market & Specialized Industries (MMBSI) Treasury Sales team serves the Commercial Banking Middle Market client segment targeting clients with greater than $100MM in annual revenue. The Executive Director Middle Market & Specialized Industries Manager reports to the national MMBSI TS Healthcare, Higher Education and Nonprofit Executive and will have overall responsibility for managing a team in the Northeast.

Maintains and develops trusted advisor relationships with MMBSI executive leadership and is part of the MMBSI leadership team. The Sales Leader develops partnerships with Bankers, Client Service, Product Leadership (Core Cash, Card and Commerce Solutions) and Implementation teams. The Manager plays a key role in the development of the Treasury Management team -- delivering an exceptional experience for clients while mitigating risk and appropriately guiding the team. Develops and executes a localized to market and product strategy while leading and managing key client pursuits and relationships.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coaching and development on all aspects needed to achieve performance goals including; Revenue, partner management and customer retention.
  • Work with leadership to formulate and execute market strategy for Treasury Services
  • Monitor staff performance, provides appropriate coaching, recognition and feedback.
  • Oversee the development of actionable relationship plans for select clients.
  • Manage, guide and coach development of client proposals/presentations.
  • Monitor performance of team members on a frequent basis.
  • Build collaborative internal relationships--with Coverage Leadership, Bankers, and internal partners.
  • Participates in partner meetings and communicates key Treasury Management messages in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Aligns daily activities to drive strategic business objectives.
  • Engages in a disciplined marketing process and quality call activities. Manages customer expectations by communicating upfront timelines and deliverables. As needed, partners with the client to ensure a successful implementation of TS products.
  • Protects the firm by applying sound risk management protocols and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Takes ownership of escalated MMBSI TS segment client issues and leverages the appropriate resources to champion results.

You must have a strong track record of leading a Sales team in the Financial Services industry and a proven record of successful selling. A strong history of building internal and external strategic selling networks will be key to your success. You must be a master of all aspects of direct selling including developing national relationships for lead generation. In addition, you will be responsible for establishing solid partnerships with other JPMorgan Chase businesses in your region to identify and close cross-sell corporate card opportunities.
