Business Systems Analyst

ADP is hiring a Business Analyst. You will be supporting our internal Client Engagement Hub custom development team which enables ADP customer service representatives to provide world class support to ADP clients. You will work with product owners and business stakeholders to: understand their requirements, create features and user stories, prioritize and size the backlog, and ensure user stories are fully groomed prior to development. You will work closely with product owners and technical SME's to formulate the product feature roadmap. You will use your expert technical understanding to work in conjunction with business stakeholders and technical SME's to develop strategic Initiatives in support of high level business objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Analysis - Conducts structured analysis according to Agile SDLC standards and prepares analysis documentation, including user stories, use cases, or other requirements documentation. Works with business stakeholders to understand and document current process, identify potential optimizations, and work with the developers to define future state. Facilitates demo's and walkthroughs to gain consensus from the business on design and implementation of product features. Shows the ability and willingness to problem solve. 
 
Product Ownership - Collaborates with product owners to define product roadmaps and translate into epic/initiatives; decomposes into features and user stories. Responsible for ensuring US meet definition of ready, fully groomed with success criteria. Assist scrum team with planning and estimation. Provides input into sprint retrospectives. Aligns and negotiates dependencies with other teams. 
 
Design – Collaborates with scrum teams to document and design alternative solutions if needed to satisfy user, business, statutory, and system requirements. Presents alternatives to users and impacted areas to facilitate design decisions and gain consensus. 
 
Testing Support - Assists in testing the features developed by the scrum team as needed. May be asked to create success criteria with detailed definitions and test cases against them. 
 
Support - Provides assistance to other staff members and development groups on selected business and technical issues. Assists in estimating and scheduling of a product or product tasks. Provides assistance to the IT Organization to troubleshoot and resolve problems and to explore opportunities for enhancement and improvement. Always shows a willingness to get things done and go the extra mile. 
 
Knowledge - Remains up-to-date on all systems analysis tools by reading related material and taking courses. Acquires business knowledge by learning the daily business operations of ADP and by obtaining a solid understanding of ADP business units, products, and features. Has knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD. Has the ability to encourage DevOps concepts into the scrum teams practices.  
 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 
3+ Years of directly related experience 
* Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum 
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles 
* Expertise using SDLC tools like Jira 
* Expertise understanding technical concepts such as APIs, software testing, software frameworks, logging frameworks, and issue troubleshooting 
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
* Excellent leadership skills 
* SCRUM Master certification -- preferred
