**Role Overview:**


The Business Management Analyst is an intermediate level position within the Banking Capital Markets and Advisory (BCMA) Business Management team. As Business Management Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the local Business Heads in the strategic and day-to-day management of the business in all relevant aspects . These tasks may include contribution to external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Business Management Analyst may assist in activities such as the preparation of management reporting, tracking of business financials, managing employee headcount or coordination of other administrative needs. In addition, work on ad hoc projects as requested may be requested.


The Business Management Analyst is involved in all business management activities across Germany BCMA Franchise and will liaise for the front office towards the global functions Finance, Legal, Compliance, IT, Risk Management, Corporate Communication and HR, and closely interact with the local BCMA senior management team.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Support of the ICG Banking Business Heads as well as other members of the senior management team in the management of the respective ICG Banking/other businesses and provide governance and business reports to the Senior Management (e.g. for Board meetings, BCMA franchise reviews, senior visits).

+ Support business development activities by preparing revenue and wallet share / competitor analyses as well as actively contribute to the financial planning process of the BCMA business.

+ Support the business management with governance related topics on a day-to-day and strategic basis

+ Perform In-Business Risk and Operational Risk management activities according to the Citi Global Operational Risk Policy and Local Germany addendum for the respective BCMA areas. This will include such activities but is not limited to Operational Risk Reporting and Corrective Action Plan tracking.

+ Support the coordination of BCMA projects initiated by the BCMA business heads, CAO ICG or board members and liaise with internal stakeholders across One ICG businesses (e.g. Markets and Treasury & Trade Solutions) and the global functions.


**Qualifications:**


+ Very good university degree in Finance or a similar subject

+ First professional experience (up to 2 years) gained from internships or as job starter in the financial sector

**Experience/Knowledge:**


+ Very good university degree in Finance or a similar subject

+ Experience creating documentation within standard development methodology

+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills


**Skills:**


+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.

+ Good presentation skills

+ Strong leadership/managerial capabilities

+ Extensive experience in Excel and PowerPoint.

+ Proven problem solving and analytical skills

+ Adaptability

+ Drive and Determination

+ Capability to build constructive work relationships across teams, products and geographies.

+ Commercial Awareness
