Were growing rapidly and are currently seeking an Business Intelligence and Commissions Analyst to support our Westminster, CO office.



Responsibilities

  • Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
  • Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
  • Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
  • Provides consultation to users of sales data and leads cross-functional teams to address business issues. Will directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
  • Contribute to the development or improvement of systems to effectively track/capture data.
  • Supports budgeting, planning and analysis activities for the Sales team.
  • Perform regular variance analysis for expenses and budgets. Manage renewals/vendor contracts, evaluates pricing structures for sales tools to ensure fit with company objectives.
  • Construct forecasts, recommendations and strategic plans based on business data and market knowledge.
  • Create specifications for reports/analysis based on business needs and required data elements.
  • Manages/leads the commission process, evaluates/implements process improvements and leverages commission tools.
  • Provide commission/incentive award items to finance based on commission plan provisions.
  • Performs staff support activities needed for the development, implementation, communication and administration of sales commission programs, plans, policies and quotas.
  • Review commission payments reports for accuracy and completeness. Resolve reconciliation issues with finance management and sales management.
  • Analyze Sales performance results, support finance in preparation and accuracy of commission reports, presentations and recommendations for sales and/or finance management.
  • Partner with finance team to perform cost analysis or modeling of alternative commission/incentive plan design or quota levels.
  • Works cross functionally to scrub data and maintain data hygiene in partnership with sales and supports month end clean up.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 3+ years successful experience with doing business and commission analytics.
  • Exceptional excel skills and comfortable producing deliverables for an executive audience.
  • Team player who thrives on collaboration and influencing without authority.
  • Well-developed organization skills with a close attention to details.
  • Eager to learn, collaborate, and work in a high growth environment that is fast paced with a willingness to support the team on ad hoc asks.
  • Proactive ability to verify and follow through, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets, ERP systems or specific data analysis computer programs.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with varied stakeholders.
