Global Wealth Management (GWM) is a Division of Citi focused on serving the needs of clients across the entire wealth spectrum. It has been created by combining the Wealth Management businesses across Citi Global Consumer Bank and Citi Private Bank. It generates over $6.6 Billion of Revenue across its global footprint in Asia, EMEA, Mexico, and North America.

**Job Purpose:**

Role reports to the GWM EMEA Chief of Staff and will be assisting the Chief of Staff and EMEA GWM Head in the coordination of the global business management processes, which include financial planning, headcount management, performance management, creating and driving client strategy, plus preparation of agendas, presentations and talking points for internal and external meetings and events attended by the GWM EMEA Head

A key priority for this individual would be around headcount with a particular focus on tracking and measuring the resourcing activity throughout the region. This individual will work in close partnership with the COO, the EMEA Regional Head of HR for Wealth and other members of the senior management team of Citi EMEA and Global Wealth to formulate and implement the strong governance around the recruiting activity for the EMEA region.

The candidate will be expected to have significant project management experience and to be very strong in execution and delivery. This candidate will be expected to provide timely updates on recruitment activity regularly to the leadership team of EMEA Citi Wealth, Global Citi Wealth and the EMEA Citi leadership team and own all recruiting activity from the business side.

In addition, this role will support the execution of the overall GWM EMEA strategy, driving the organic growth agenda and supporting on complex franchise-wide projects and initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

+ This individual will be leading the enhanced governance around the recruitment activity of staff into EMEA Wealth business, tracking, providing updates to senior management and planning the resourcing appropriately across all of EMEA and owning all the resourcing activity by owning the business planning process.

+ This individual will be acting as a business liaison with our recruiting team and help to increase awareness from hiring managers around the hiring process and upskilling and education sessions

+ Hands on approach and ability to get up to speed rapidly to add value and deliver for our new hires and existing employees.

+ Ensure business timeline and sense of urgency around hiring activity in the region.

+ Partner with HR on developing effective organizational models, including coordinating headcount reviews, and developing appropriate regional/global interaction models

+ Collaborate with key stakeholders across GWM EMEA products, regions, and functions for the alignment of best practices and continue to refine processes to support ongoing business management activities and increase efficiency

+ In addition, Support the GWM EMEA Head and Chief of Staff on all key deliverables and engagements, including preparation of materials and talking points for forums such as town halls, regulatory engagement, public appearances, internal off-sites, and other commitments

**Qualifications and Competencies**

+ The individual should be hands on and a self starter who is able to see synergies across different departments and able to work across the business and the HR departments seemlessly in adding significant value to the resourcing model for GWM.

+ It is critical that this individual needs to be very proficient on excel and powerpoint.

+ The individual needs to demonstrate Hands-on expertise working across various Countries/ Markets in the EMEA region and ability to deliver on commitments within tight deadlines

+ Required skills include ability to think strategically; Negotiate Alliances; superior problem-solving abilities; project management, teamwork, quantitative aptitude; and the ability to effectively synthesise, communicate & solve complex business issues.

+ The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to adapt the style to suit the audience. Leadership skills combined with the ability to influence senior stakeholders formally and informally are essential.

+ Candidates should have an undergraduate degree. Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.

+ The role is well-suited to a highly motivated and self-driven individual with a positive attitude and a desire to make innovative change happen.


+ Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred
