The Consumer Bank Business Practices team helps create an overall stronger control environment by embedding the customer perspective more directly in the decision-making process as Consumer Bank develops and delivers new products, operating models and technologies. The team meets this objective through several means: governance and oversight of Sales Practices, UDAAP, and Elder Vulnerable Persons (EVP); monitoring and reporting employee activities to understand any emerging issues or trends; safeguarding specific segments that may not be accounted for appropriately or fairly as we expand and change the way we do business in our communities; and providing advisory support on Consumer Bank initiatives helping ensure they do not have the potential to alter the culture of our branch network or expose the firm to adverse reputational or regulatory impact.
