This role will act as the Assistant Product Line Manager for Physiological Monitoring (Physio) projects including the intersection with potential SAR accessories, Fire Helmet accessories and stand-alone Technology solutions like LUNAR. Additionally, this role will co-ordinate any Physio efforts, SW projects, and connection with Safety iO . The incumbent will also be tasked with assisting in the planning, development and execution of marketing strategy for Physio across MSAs broader Industrial Portfolio. This will include the development of financial metrics for the organization, provide direction to the R&D team on priorities and guide the sales teams transition into these types of solutions.



  • Support the execution of the global Physiological Monitoring strategy.
  • Gather and document robust voice of customer (VOC) as a critical input to new product development.
  • Develop innovative ideas based on trends and customer and end-user insights.
  • Serve as a key member and leader within the new product development teams.
  • Provide input to the development of the annual product portfolio and long term business strategy for the product group.
  • Provide input to global and regional steering teams.
  • Track and report product line performance metrics.
  • Manage new product launches and the product life cycle process while working cross functionally with Customer Marketing.
  • Forecast revenue and unit demand for Operations and Management.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and market trends that impact the product line.
  • Price products to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Work with customer-focused teams on planning and development of all marketing collateral, content and demand creation programs.
  • Work with Operational Excellence team to support continuous production of products.
  • Play an active role in all product quality issues including monitoring and resolution


Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • Proven ability to exhibit strategic thinking skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
    Solid presentation, customer service, business and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex data and take appropriate action.
  • Proven ability to execute and exhibit a results focused mindset.
  • Proven relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp the technical aspects of the Physiological Monitoring lines and corresponding applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Minimum of 25% travel required

Education and Experience required:

  • 3 years of experience in marketing, sales or product development (engineering)
  • MBA or related graduate degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of experience
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline
  • 4 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelors Degree


  • Masters Degree or equivalent in Biomedical Engineering
  • Previous Physiological Monitoring experience.
  • Previous clinical research experience
