Summary
The Assistant Nurse Manager / Registered Nurse / RN directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities in specialty areas for the purpose of ensuring the competent delivery of quality patient care. Assistant Nurse Manager / Registered Nurse / RN implements, educates and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. The Assistant Nurse Manager / Registered Nurse / RN's primary role is to take charge of nursing personnel, however, they may take patient assignments whenever business or operational needs dictate, in order to deliver high quality patient care.

Qualifications

:
Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)
Certifications
Required: 
Florida RN / Registered Nurse License. American Heart Association approved BLS for all areas and ACLS
 Candidates in unit have priority based on unit seniority
