LOCATION: FLEXIBLE 
 

The primary function of the Client References & Program Manager is to drive the success and overall growth of the Client Reference program at ADP by operationalizing existing, successful programs and leveraging a team of Client Reference Managers across multiple Business Units. This role will incorporate client references into a wide spectrum of public and private reference activities servicing the needs of sales, marketing, product management, and PR/Analyst Relations. The Client Reference program should not only deliver value to prospects, but also be a great experience for customers and ADP stakeholders.

 

In this role, not only will you be responsible for working across Sales, Service, Implementation, Product and Marketing to increase the number of references but also ensure the conversations are insightful and impactful to prospects. This will be done through a variety of mediums including analyst reviews, case studies, speaking engagements, webcasts, advocacy programs, sales tools and more.

 

This role will help lead the Reference Management Specialist team, build an ADP-wide, scalable, reference program, and deliver tremendous value to the ADP through the engagement of advocate customers.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage Referenceable Clients
    • Work closely with the various DVPs of Sales Operations, as well as field sales leadership, implementation, and service to identify and manage referenceable clients for all product lines
    • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of all client references and maintain a reference database to track participation.
  • Collaborate Daily
    • Coach and lead Reference Management Specialist team with reference best practices
    • Develop relationships with the implementation, and service teams to ensure a complete view of the client and any issues that need to be resolved prior to engagement with prospects
    • Partner with the Marketing Team to identify clients and a create a pipeline for testimonials
    • Participate in reference program development and ongoing strategy, reference program data integration into customer success, asset management, advocacy platforms.
    • Reference vendor relationship engagement and escalation management
  • Be the Reliable Resource for Requests
    • Be the go-to person for all name drops, RFP's and peer-to-peer requests. Identify suitable references, confirm reference ability with relationship owner, and work with relationship owner to secure the reference and coordinate the call with prospective client
  • Deliver Meaningful Results
    • Create reports and dashboards showing trends and gaps among reference ability of our client base
    • Help continue to educate the service teams on the importance of reference ability and securing multiple contacts at an organization as referenceable
  • Communicate & Educate
    • Work with Sales and Operations to educate and train sales on reference request process, best practices, and benefits to them
    • Maintain quarterly email direct nurture program between vetted reference base and Reference Specialists.

 

EXPERIENCE YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • BA/BS in related field
  • 2+ years in a Client Reference, Marketing or Client Service organization.
  • Familiar with Influitive, RO Innovation, Point of Reference, Seibel, Salesforce, Tableau, Gainsight
  • Capacity for building relationships both internally and externally
  • Track record of excellent communication, project management, planning and time management skills
  • Collaborative approach to work
