SUMMARY

The Financial Specialist is responsible for managing the advanced financial reconciliation of assigned projects.



Primary areas of responsibility and tasks that may typically be expected include but are not limited to;

Daily Duties:

  • Process speaker fee-for-service and reimbursement checks, verify all reimbursement requests fall within guidelines
  • Receiving and verifying Form W-9 for all speaker fee-for-service payments
  • Breakout venue receipts according to clients' business rules
  • Daily credit card reconciliation
  • Handling credit card disputes with payment vendor
  • Complete program financial reconciliation
  • Assist with transparency reporting and data checks
  • Monitor program conduct against federal, state and clients' guidelines and policies
  • Provide audit support documentation to client as needed
  • Understand and enforce compliance requirements

Other Duties:

  • Performs other related duties as assigned and/or required

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR CERTIFICATION

  • Applicant should have a minimum 2-5 years successful work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in business preferred or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Access, Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks

TRAVEL

Occasional travel between office locations, less than 5%

This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones and copy machines.
