* To support the integrity of the Group's risk/return decisions, and in particular for ensuring that credit risks arising from Retail clients are properly assessed, and are controlled in accordance with the Group's standards and its Risk Appetite * To implement stress testing techniques compliant with group standards and meet the requirements of both PRA and local regulators * To perform timely stress testing analysis to facilitate management's oversight and decision
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Processes * Support all related processes where Country Risk Governance - Stress Testing is the identified first line process owner * Ensure effective management of operational risks within Country Risk Governance - Stress Testing and compliance with applicable internal policies, external laws and regulations * Continuously improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of risk management processes
Risk Management * Ensure risk identification, measurement and modelling capabilities are objective, consistent and compliant with applicable regulations * Maintain a good understanding of the requirements of key external stakeholders in respect of credit risk management and ensure these are well understood internally and reflected in stress testing * Ensure that the retail clients has the analytic capabilities, such as stress testing, risk appetite analysis to make effective risk & return based decision * Perform credit risk stress testing, such as Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process and Reverse Stress Testing, compliant with local regulatory requirement * Support group wide stress test and risk appetite analysis * Ensure adequate controls and compliance with Group Standard and local regulatory requirement within Country Risk Governance - Stress Testing
