The Admissions Records Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to facilitate the admissions process.
Essential Job Functions:
Processes new applications and related application documents (i.e. change requests) and enters data into appropriate information system
Reviews transcripts for completeness and enters the information into the appropriate information system
Answers phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, either responding to the callers' inquiries or transferring the caller to the appropriate person or department
Organizes files efficiently and to facilitate quick access to records
Generates and/or mails outgoing correspondence
Provides general information about the university and the admissions process
Supervises and manages student employees, as necessary, to enhance their academic and professional development
Performs other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience working with academic records
