Under the direction of the Associate Director, plan, organize and direct the operational aspects of the admissions process for the Berkeley Evening & Weekend MBA program ensuring deadlines are met. Processing of applications includes reviewing electronic files, querying for specific applicant populations in Slate application software, identifying applicants in need of follow-up due to incomplete or incorrect paperwork, and verifying applicant credentials.
?Use professional judgment and process applications by entering data, consolidating applicant profiles, following up on missing materials, and summarizing applicant qualifications to admissions staff. ?Manage process for special requests such as early decisions, deferrals and transfers. ?Oversee the scheduling and processing of candidate interviews: coordinating the availability of interview rooms as well as the schedule of interviews and communicating with the admissions committee regarding needed adjustments when resources are constrained. ?Assist in the maintenance of applicant database integrity. Assist with data analysis and reporting. ?Update and oversee the Berkeley Evening & Weekend MBA program and the Berkeley Executive MBA program websites. ?Build and maintain relationships with student services to ensure proper matriculation of students. ?Coordinates the employment verification process and ensures that all admitted students receive Graduate Admissions approval. ?Initiates yearly process improvements. ?Other operations duties as needed
Provides information about higher education generally and Haas and/or the Berkeley Evening & Weekend MBA program one-on-one and to groups.
?Provides information on admissions requirements ?Responds to inquiries from prospective students regarding entrance requirements, application procedures, financial aid availability, etc. ?Responds to telephone, e-mail and web inquiries regarding the EWMBA and EMBA programs and admissions requirements in a timely and professional manner. ?Assists in recruitment activities, including writing or editing materials, social media and representing the Evening & Weekend MBA program at admissions events and other forums. -Acts as the greeter and registration person at large events, as needed. -Assists in the creation, distribution, and analysis of information from reception surveys ? Other marketing duties as needed
?Work with Associate Director annually on updating and managing, testing and implementing the online application using Slate; liaise with Computing Services on data maintenance and other projects, as needed. ?Responsible for overseeing application fees and enrollment deposits. There is no cash handling associated with this position. ?Act as liaison to the program office for Evening & Weekend MBA; attend weekly program office staff meetings and share information between groups. ?Assists in recruitment activities, including writing or editing materials, social media and representing the Evening & Weekend MBA program at admissions events and other forums. -Acts as the greeter and registration person at large events, as needed. -Assists in the creation, distribution, and analysis of information from reception surveys ?Run reports and perform data analysis from various legacy and current systems. ?Other administrative duties as needed. ?Assist in the planning and implementation of yield activities designed to attract admitted students to enroll in the programs. These activities include the coordination of receptions at Haas and/or outside venues. ?Coordinates email lists, direct mailing initiatives, class visits, and other activities as necessary. ?Evaluates effectiveness of recruitment efforts using quantitative metrics. ?Other administrative duties as needed

A high level of professionalism in working with applicants with significant work experience. ?Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Must be able to establish priorities, meet deadlines and work as part of a team. ?This position has been designated as sensitive and requires a Criminal Background Check ?The successful candidate must have a high comfort level with technology, demonstrating proficiency with MS Office, Google applications, and higher education admissions software. ?Availability to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
Education/Training: Bachelors degree plus two to five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
