Our UW Bothell, Community Based Research & Learning Program has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Manager.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS The CBLR Office works with over 120 community organizations each year to support UW Bothell students and faculty.
Communicate and work with existing community partnerships to match and support CBLR course learning opportunities, communicate about new opportunities for collaboration with UW Bothell's developing programs, and answer questions regarding EXPO (the tracking database).
Provide ongoing feedback to existing community partnerships and receive and respond to feedback from partners on processes for improvement and student concerns.
Conduct periodic site visits to community partner organizations, and periodically attend local community meetings.
Responsible for the completion and organization of Partnership Agreements.
Support annual Community Partner Recognition: Delegate event logistics to Student Success Center Events Coordinator, invite community partners, and supervise CBLR students who support the event, support day off program and logistics.
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT The CBLR Office supports approximately 75 CBLR courses each academic year.
Manage the quarterly process and flow of CBLR courses involving communication and coordination with faculty, community partners and students.
Coordinate student worker orientation, rotating student schedules on a quarterly basis, and maintain weekly check-ins with student workers.
Responsible for evaluation and annual hiring process of CBLR Student Assistants.
Develop forms and content for the CBLR website for better communication and transparency of CBLR processes for faculty, community partners, students, and staff.
In partnership with the Director of Community Engagement and Director of Integrated Learning, support the implementation of the community engagement communication plan, in overseeing the production of newsletters for the institution, students, and community partners.
Responsible for the creation of the CBLR Annual Report.

Serve and participate on university committees as assigned or designated.

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, American Ethnic Studies, Business, Health Studies, or related field.
- Two to three years experience in education, administration, community engagement/outreach, service-learning, student affairs, or related field - Prior experience working with diverse communities and demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity efforts. - Ability to work well with a variety of external sectors; K-12 schools, non-profits, local government, industry, for-profit. - Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff and community partners. - Ability to work well on a team and collaborate with colleagues from across the university. - Ability to delegate tasks to students and colleagues in order to achieve a larger goal. - Strong organization skills with an aptitude for attention to detail. - Confident public speaking and presentation skills. - Ability to problem solve both independently and in team settings. - Highly self-motivated and able to exercise initiative. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment. - Ability to shift and adapt to multiple projects and set priorities for work. - Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. - Willing to work occasional evenings and weekends.
