Job Posting: Job Summary: Cedars Sinai's Enterprise Information Services (EIS) Department is seeking an experienced, energetic, and forward-thinking Oracle Cloud/PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) - Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) and Human Capital Management Cloud (HCM) - Manager to manage and direct the efforts of the ERP Applications Specialist/Analyst team in implementing and supporting related technologies for the Cedars Sinai enterprise. Provides leadership to help shape alignment of roles and responsibilities with processes and standards that drive efforts to support optimization efforts, upgrades and new implementations of FSCM, HCM, and Sponsored Research functionality. Processes and standards include business owner engagement and relationship management, business needs assessment, functional requirements documentation, functional testing, training and production support prioritization. Will play a critical role in facilitating discussions and partnering with business leaders to define, implement and maintain key processes and methodologies to manage project request intake, issue and enhancement prioritization and coordination across diverse business areas. Will provide leadership skills to help guide in the strategic, tactical and day-to-day planning of all ERP related systems. The position requires a strong understanding of business operations in addition to the technical aspects of Oracle HCM Cloud and PeopleSoft systems. Supports the recruitment and selection of team members, manages consultants and contractors, and oversees training, development and ongoing performance measurement of team members. Job Responsibilities: 1. Provides expertise, management, and leadership for all assigned ERP related systems. 2. Supervises and participates in the business needs analysis, requirements gathering, design, development testing, documentation, implementation and ongoing support of Oracle HCM Cloud and PeopleSoft FSCM application solutions. 3. Analyzes, evaluates, selects, and integrates new ERP application solutions. 4. Oversees and drives development, implementation and maintenance of standards for business owner engagement and relationship management, business needs assessments, functional requirements documentation, functional testing, training and production support prioritization. 5. Responsible for management of EIS capital and operating budgets as assigned. 6. Defines job duties and competencies, recruits and selects staff for ERP Application Specialists positions. 7. Participates in multidisciplinary teams for requirements definition, vendor selection, and information systems implementation, testing, and support. Provides leadership for ERP application specialists for same. 8. Participates in the development and implementation of other EIS ERP related policies, procedures, and standards. 9. Supports EIS technology architecture guidelines for technology infrastructure and application development. 10. Participation in ERP Governance Councils to represent EIS as required. 11. Performs other duties as assigned or required by the Director of ERP Systems and Business Systems. 12. Manages all aspects of management of the application software including maintenance and development and functional and technical team user support. 13. Responsible for planning, communicating, leading and coordinating system changes/additions/enhancements with all affected areas and users in advance of production deployment. 14. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in a health care, business, or technical field; Master's Degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and work experience is acceptable.
Minimum of seven years' experience with PeopleSoft FSCM systems (Purchasing, Materials Management, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Assets, Budget, Grants and Funding) and at least 2 years of experience with managing a high performing team in a complex multi-platform environment (healthcare preferred). Advance understanding of PeopleSoft technical components and software solutions for business use.
Experience with implementing and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud suite is preferred.
Demonstrated expertise with enterprise business systems applications and understanding of the needs and priorities of business customers.
Familiar with a broad range of business systems/applications across the ERP FSCM and HCM domains, security access, web, interface/integration, database and networking technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated expertise in project management, systems analysis, customer relations, and vendor contract negotiation and management.
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal effectively with diverse skill sets and personalities, provide strong team leadership, and work effectively as a team player.
Expert with mainstream office automation, project management, presentation, and communications tools.
