The Laboratory Manager will have primary responsibility for managing the daily operation of the laboratory, including conducting experiments investigating the genetics of the aging process in D. melanogaster, assisting in planning and implementation of research activities, and supervision of the research activities of other technical support personnel.
Required: BA or BSc in Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics or related field.
At least 5 yearsâ™ research experience, with two in lab management.
Competence in genetic and molecular biology lab techniques; experience with Drosophila preferable.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
