AJW, Inc. is seeking an associate to work on Republican outreach, with a focus on the Clean Air Act, energy efficiency, and climate change. This position will include engaging on Capitol Hill, navigating complex regulatory issues, and supporting public policy development on a variety of energy and environmental issues.
AJW was created to help private sector clients expand market demand for their advanced energy and environmental solutions. We work to overcome market barriers facing innovative technologies, and we advocate for government policies that create new market opportunities.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Enthusiasm for developing and engaging networks of professional relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience analyzing and synthesizing complex policy issues
Six to eight years of relevant policy, legislative, or regulatory
Experience with trade associations or coalitions
Experience with energy and environmental issues, including specifically energy efficiency and Clean Air Act
Ability to work as part of a
