The Clinical Risk Manager (CRM) is responsible for organization, planning, ongoing development, management, and implementation of the Clinical Risk Management Program at EGSMC under the direction of the . The CRM integrates the Clinical Risk Management Program across all hospital departments and with the medical staff. The CRM acts as a risk management resource for the hospital and medical staff. The CRM performs job-specific risk management duties and responsibilities of loss prevention and risk reduction. The Clinical Risk Manager must be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing. The Clinical Risk Manager must project poise and credibility in all situations and demonstrate effective presentation skills. The Clinical Risk Manager must keep the necessary people informed and up-to-date on any issues pertinent to their need-to-know.
