Our European TMET team has a strong pipeline of prospects coming up and is looking for a highly motivated Vice President to support our growing investment banking activity and assist in growing our principal investments business.
Our TMET team provides investment banking and principal investment solutions to clients. Services include private and public Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), public and private capital raisings, principal investments, restructurings and recapitalisations. A key component of our work comprises cross-border work. Some of our recent transaction highlights include: acquisition of Allegro, Poland's #1 eCommerce marketplace ($3.3 billion); sale of Unister, Germany's #1 online travel agent (₠n/d); sole bookrunner on senior and second lien debt (£160 million); acquisition of Audiotonix, a world-leading provider of music consoles (£n/d million).
As a Vice President in our team you will have the opportunity to work closely with both the senior TMET team and other sector/product teams to generate and execute transactions. You will manage the junior team, providing guidance on financial analysis and reviewing financial models, and spearhead the day-to-day execution on live projects.
You will liaising with clients, external advisers and professional consultants, and take a lead role in designing and leading production of presentations, information memoranda and other analysis for internal and external audiences.
If you are degree qualified from a top tier university and have demonstrable M&A (and preferably ECM and DCM) transactional experience, commensurate to VP level in a top tier investment bank or advisory boutique within the TMET sector, particularly software, we want to hear from you.
You should also be able to demonstrate:-
Proven experience in mentoring and supervising junior members of the team in building and reviewing financial models, such as LBO, DCF, and tailored fully integrated models
Proven experience in preparing valuations, pitch books and Information Memorandums
High commercial acumen and solid verbal and written communication skills
Superior project management skills.
Post graduate qualifications in Finance or an MBA will be favourably regarded.
