The Residential Coordinator provides residential support, guidance, and supervision to the residential staff. They assist in the development, scheduling, implementation, and facilitation of dorm activities, curriculum, and community wide events. The Assistant To The Residential Dean is also responsible for facilitating and overseeing weekend programming when on-duty, and supervising recreational activities both on and off campus as assigned.
They work collaboratively with the Residential Instructors in the creation and follow through of individual student goals, and provide regular communication to families and parents regarding student progress, concerns, and goal setting. They also provides one on one instruction and guidance to the student population relating to independent living and interpersonal skills. The Assistant To The Residential Dean works closely with students in increasing their social and emotional awareness, how to successfully resolve conflicts, communicate effectively, and make healthy and appropriate decisions that leads to a positive sense of empowerment.
The Residential Coordinator is required to work scheduled weekends through the Academic School Year.
Full Time Employment Includes: -Health Care -Scheduled vacation time throughout the school year -Sick and Personal Time -Applicants must be willing to submit to a background check.
Background in counseling, progrom development, staff supervision, behavioral intervention, and/or working with students with learning disabilities preferred.
