The Residential Support Staff provides residential support, one on one instruction, and guidance relating to independent living and interpersonal skills. They work collaboratively with the Residential Instructors, to facilitate the individual goals of the students. The Residential Support Staff acts as a mentor, role model, surrogate parent, teacher, counselor and life skills coach in the areas of social and emotional development.
The residential program includes opportunities to design and teach a variety of after school elective classes ranging from athletic, art, and cultural activities to volunteer and community service programs. Residential staff are also responsible for facilitating and overseeing weekend programming when on-duty, and supervising recreational activities both on and off campus as assigned.
Residential Support Staff are required to work scheduled weekends through the Academic School Year.

Background in counseling, behavioral intervention, and/or working with students with learning disabilities preferred.
