We are conducting a retained search for a dynamic Administrator/CEO to lead one of the communities owned and operated by our industry leading health services client. This nonprofit health system includes over 40 care communities in the Midwest. The communities provide independent living and complete long-term care services for aging adults. The Administrator / CEO will be a key player in the continued growth and quality standards of the community. The candidate will be an exceptional communicator who can promote and integrate the core mission and values of the organization across all areas of operations, communications and public relations. This person will be a strategic leader that can clearly and effectively articulate plans to team members, as well as board members, community, government, clients and families.The Administrator will report to the Vice President of Operations and will be responsible for developing, updating, and articulating the community vision/strategic plan; managing financial operations to ensure community resources are used in a fiscally responsible manner; coordinating with the human resources department to promote high recruitment, development and retention standards; and being a visionary leader that positions the community as part of an innovative, well-rounded organization dedicated to ethical, compassionate, care.
The qualified candidate will be a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and have a minimum of 5 years of long term care and /or senior housing experience.Other desired skills include:•Ability to actively relate to the staff, board, and community•Strong leadership, human relations, and communication skills•Knowledge of accounting principles and practices•Human resources skills in recruitment, retention and development
