MHP Salud, a national non-profit agency that implements Community Health Worker (CHW) programs, as well as provides training and support services to other agencies who wish to start-up or strengthen their own CHW programs, is currently seeking a Program Manager in its Ypsilanti, MI or Weslaco, TX office.
As a member of the Capacity-Building Assistance (CBA) Team, this position will be instrumental in advancing the organization’s strategy of promoting the CHW profession within the Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC) safety net. The Program Manager will travel across the country to provide high-quality training on the CHW model, develop a wide variety of training and technical assistance resources and materials, and work with the Marketing team to ensure the CHW model and CBA resources are being effectively promoted across social media outlets. The Program Manager will also oversee direct service CHW programs as needed.
Position Location: Weslaco, Texas or Ypsilanti, Michigan preferred. Tampa/Orlando/Sarasota, Florida or Tri-cities, Washington also considered.

Successful applicant will have a Bachelor degree in public health, public administration, public policy or related field with 2-5 years’ experience in community health/healthcare required. Master’s degree in public health preferred.
In-depth knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Centers and/or the Community Health Worker model strongly preferred.
Computer and technological literacy and proficiency required.
Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish and English required.
