Gustavus Adolphus College invites applications for a full-time Assistant Manager of the Gustavus Annual Fund with the Advancement Office.
Gustavus Adolphus College is a private liberal arts college in Saint Peter, Minn., that prepares 2,400 undergraduates for lives of leadership, service, and lifelong learning. This primary purpose of this position is to coordinate and implement student-focused programs aimed at increasing giving participation in Gustavus alumni and current students. Oversee student calling, student philanthropy committees, and class activities. Collaborate on overall solicitation strategies for the Gustavus Fund and reunion giving initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the GusLink student phone solicitation and work to integrate it into the broader Gustavus Fund plan and reunion giving plan.
Collaborate with reunion giving to strategically solicit key reunion classes and support class outreach.
Plan and manage portions of the departmental budget directly linked to the Gustavus Fund.
Organize and guide student class officer activities to improve class identity.
Manage the senior class legacy project.
Creatively and meaningfully steward donors of the college.
Coordinate special events for current students and parents.
Participate in appropriate professional organizations as able.
All other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in related field.
Experience in leading a group and project management.
Ability to collaborate with students, alumni, and other departments on campus.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Understanding of liberal arts education and enthusiasm for non-profit advocacy.
Non-profit or service work experience.
Leadership positions held within an organization.
Participation in frequent evening and weekend activities for a portion of a 40 hour work week.
