Under supervision, the Site and Applications Services Professional provides operational support to the Director of Web Operations in the administration, management, troubleshooting, and training aspects of the Marketing and Communication's web-based healthcare software systems and applications, including planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of all related and/or integrated systems. Incumbent will provide first-level support for users, ensure accuracy of information and provide installation, upgrades and training services as needed. Incumbent will also assist in the analysis and development of productivity tools, procedures, and processes that will increase the usability and effectiveness of the Health System's applications and environments.
Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two (2) years of relevant web-application design, delivery, and support experience.
Demonstrated ability to plan and manage large online projects, and organize/balance multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Visio, Project and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated knowledge of how IT teams work and a thorough understanding of their processes.
Experience with e-commerce applications and a working knowledge of Online Transaction Processing (OLTP).
Experience with Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, and Google Chrome for web-based applications including a demonstrated knowledge of browser communication sessions.
Experience in implementing QA Processes, developing Test strategies, Metrics and Measurements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Extensive experience with content management systems, particularly SharePoint.
Experience developing websites for a top-rated health system.
Experience editing and posting photos and videos to the web using Adobe PhotoShop, Apple iMovie, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign.
Extensive experience with cross browser capability, search engine optimization, and web accessibility.
Experience with project management; including a strong understanding of workflow concepts and design.
Experience with database driven applications; SQL systems.
Experience with the following applications (or types); PhotoBooks (physician databases); Active Data Exchange (event calendars), DeepTrawl or Xenu (web maintenance), Radian6 (social media monitoring), Google Analytics or Anametrix (web analytics), Krames Staywell , EMMI or Healthwise (healthcare libraries), SharePoint (web CMS systems), and online application administration like Google tools, Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, etc.
Must be willing to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
