The role of the Assistant Community Health Program Representative - Family Partner is to assist with the provision of clinical services to at-risk children and their caregivers under the direction of a Mental Health Therapist and supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist.--Current or previous experience as a family member of a child receiving public Mental Health services.--Experience with, but not limited to: various software programs (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access), e-mail systems and Internet.--Good writing, verbal, and planning skills.--Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and listening).--Knowledge of child, elder abuse, and domestic violence reporting requirements, and other significant legislation and laws regulating Social Work practice, (e.g., Tarasoff, confidentiality, etc.). --Ability to communicate and interact effectively with children and their caregivers, other staff members, Social Workers, and representatives of community agencies.--Ability to write clear, concise notes using applicable computer software.PREFERRED--Bilingual in Spanish languageSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS--Valid California Driver's License and personal, insured transportation.--Participation in DMV Pull Notice Program.--Occasional overtime as needed.--THIS POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, DRUG SCREEN, LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, MEDICAL EVALUATION CLEARANCE, AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT.
