The Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs oversees YU's academic programs, research, personnel and resources. The Provost provides strategic leadership for the University to ensure its mission is being met and to enhance the quality of the institution's teaching, learning and scholarship.
The Executive Assistant to the Provost reports directly to the Provost and is responsible for the Provost's schedule and for organizing and scheduling the work of the Provost's office, maintaining task assignments and their follow-up, managing interoffice communication, and drafting correspondence. In addition he/she will liaise with the offices of the President, Vice Presidents, and University Deans. The Executive Assistant will interact on a regular basis with faculty members across the University.
Provide high-level administrative support for the Provost.
Manage the Provost's complex schedule.
Coordinate the Provost's activities to support those of the President, University Vice Presidents and Deans.
Manage the telephone and electronic communications of the Provost office.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, special events, and other events as required.
Manage, review and draft responses to incoming correspondence.
Maintain extensive knowledge and understanding of University and school policies and procedures.
