This Telehealth Tech Specialist will be responsible for:
Assisting with Digital Health and telehealth technical implementation plans, supporting the coordination and technical requirements of project and testing protocols, performing testing on technology platforms and assisting external partners in the use of Digital Health technology.
Coordinating activities, daily phone and video support operations directly with patients, families, clinicians and administrative staff for the telehealth programs.
Under general supervision, working closely with the clinical teams, IT, and remote locations, documenting user requirements, implementing new enhancements, testing new featuresand troubleshooting patient and clinician technical issues as they arise. Providing technical advice, problem solving assistance and answers to questions; referring to appropriate department person when unable to respond.
Providing onsite support and training to clinicians and users at Boston Children's and partner locations and helping to triage and manage issues as they arise.
Preparing periodic technology and user support reports on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies.
Reviewing technology applications or other program technical documents to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program and end user experience.
Assisting with user guides, workflows, system requirements, testing protocols, training documents, written communication and promotional literature.
Liaison between Information Services, clinical departments, Digital Health Program leadership and end users to resolve technical or functional questions.
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field strongly preferred. Associates Degree required with 1 year of relevant experience.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, provide strong attention to detail, demonstrate empathy in difficult interpersonal situations and have strong customer service skills.
The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
