Marketing: Market programs to the public, teachers, counselors and school district administrators. Marketing with the goal of increasing enrollment and program retention. Lead program recruitment and promotional support for designated programs. Develop and recommend content for digital ads. Work closely with University Communications & Marketing (UCM) and School Marketing Coordinator in creating social media advertisements in support of enrollment for designated programs. Plan and coordinate special events. Coordinate e-mail blasts with the intent to promote programs.
Project Management: Work with faculty in promoting programs and resolving student issues. Meet with applicants and review program administrative requirements. Meet with students and Graduate Studies to resolve administrative program issues. Respond to prospective student inquiries, coordinate information sessions and serve as liaison to multiple on-campus departments to assist with the enrollment and graduation process. Respond to inquiries and follow up on various programs. Reconcile enrollment with cohort information.
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Minimum five years of professional experience of which three years experience are in project management. Experience with the teacher education population and social media marketing. High level of MS Office Skills including data base management (specifically ACCESS). Experience working independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others. High level of problem solving for students and faculty.
Master’s Degree or some post baccalaureate work. Previous experience working in higher education recruiting, retention, or program coordination. Successful experience with marketing.
