Reporting to the Facilities Enterprise Systems Supervisor, the Administrative Coordinator provides support to the Facilities Department through on-boarding new employees, providing access to and technical assistance with the department's enterprise system, managing calendars, as well as writing procedures and business documents. The position requires a professional and customer focused approach in all interactions with a diverse group of colleagues and clients.
- Experience providing administrative support in a professional or academic setting. - Experience such as drafting and editing correspondence, reports, procedures and other documents. - Experience such as managing calendars, events, and meeting coordination. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). - Must have a valid drivers license. - Excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse clientele, from all levels within the organization. - Ability to work with confidential material and information. - Ability to prioritize tasks, process documents with careful attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines. - Adaptable to changing requirements and short timelines. - Resourcefulness and creativity with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent training and/or experience. - Proficient with Apple and Android mobile devices. - Previous Human Resources experience, specifically on-boarding newly hired employees. - Previous experience working in a university setting. - Experience with AssetWorks AiM: Intelligent Workplace Management System. - Previous experience working with diverse groups of people in an enterprise wide management system.
