We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President Regional Sales.
Responsible for originating and driving incremental business opportunities from subsidiaries of China parented Global Banking clients based in Hong Kong
The scope of discussion will be primarily focused in, but not limited to, Hong Kong cash management solutions. Depending on the remit of the client stakeholders, the discussion can cover other markets globally
Work in close partnership with the China and Hong Kong Relationship and Cash Management teams to identify and develop business opportunities, jointly formulate the China Corporate Sales strategy in Hong Kong
Proactively develop deal pipeline and prioritize according to opportunity and value to HSBC Group
Adopt a need based advisory approach to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate cash management solutions that answer their requirements
Manage complex global, regional or domestic cash management opportunities by effectively engaging and coordinating external and internal stakeholders across markets and functions, to deliver high impact business proposal or pitches
Work closely with the Global Liquidity and Cash Management Implementation and Client Service teams to provide ongoing coverage in response to client evolving requirements
Feedback to the Global Liquidity and Cash Management Product team on the competitive market landscape and client specific requirements, to help drive product enhancements or developments as appropriate
Coach junior team members on day to day work activities
Promote HSBC market profile in cash management business through organizing, participating or speaking in external and internal events, industry article contribution, and securing of client testimonial and votes for HSBC
University graduate with proven track record in cash management or banking relationship management, especially in China corporates coverage
Proven experience in managing complex corporate relationships in client facing roles and in diving revenue growth, demonstrating an understanding of risk management, structures, products and processes, in an individual contributor capacity
Strategic thinking, highly motivated and achievement driven
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Highly motivated and achievement driven with an ability to formulate and articulate sales strategies
Ability to operate on a cross regional and cross functional basis
Ability to cope with pressure in a fast growing and fast moving environment
Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
Fluency in both written and verbal English and Chinese Mandarin required
