About the Position:
Global Engagement is an integral part of the domestic and international program support for admissions and alumni outreach. Supporting the Director of Global Engagement, this role will build support from EMBA alumni and students that will translate into greater quality and quantity of prospects for enrollment in EMBA programs. In addition, this role will support efforts to build community with EMBA alumni, continuing the sense of affinity and connection to the school to this specific target audience.
The Program Manager will be on the front line of our Executive MBA Leadership Council (ELC), providing relationship and event support to students, alumni and sponsoring companies engaging with the Kellogg Executive MBA program. The Program Manager will help establish a communications plan for EMBA alumni, maintaining and tracking communications for best in class alumni connectivity. The Program Manager will also establish systems for Alumni referrals in order to ensure timely feedback back to alumni.
Please Note: This position requires scheduled work on evenings and weekends. Occasional domestic and international travel required.
EMBA Leadership Council Management:
Provide program support for ELC; the model for engagement for EMBA alums in the admissions and recruitment process and volunteer efforts
Provide research to identify key markets and specific alumni to partner in the ELC initiative
Independently develop systems/databases/tracking mechanisms required to deliver on ELC
Conduct research with EMBA alumni to better understand preferred methods of engagement
Provide data analysis to better segment alumni markets
Manage recruiting dinners and events for alumni ambassadors to host, including scheduling, securing alumni and ensuring the proper ratio of prospects to alumni
Alumni Database Management:
Independently develop systems/database/tracking mechanisms required for EMBA alumni engagement.
Provide analytics and reporting to measure successful engagement
Analyze student and alumni populations to inform corporate outreach strategy
Manage the alumni referral process: referral appreciation strategy and execution
Match alumni with prospective students
Execute on a multi-faceted communications strategy to EMBA Alumni championing engagement and admissions support
Drive communications and insights from faculty and alumni to support a vibrant, interactive set of channels for connecting with the EMBA community
Drive creation of social media network platform (eg. Linked In) as primary tool for building global network alumni community. Monitor and facilitate new platform on daily basis, admitting new members, facilitating discussion and posting events
Build student-based communications that ensure smooth transition from student to alum status, and ensure engagement post-graduation, including work with Alumni Relations on class gifts, reunion, etc.
Develop and manage special events for alumni, including efforts to target special interest groups (e.g. Program for women)
Manage and support departmental events, including graduation, entrepreneurial boot-camps, etc., as need dictates
Design and provide ongoing reports on the effectiveness of the ELC campaigns; this includes establishing clear database needs and requirements
Track and report on all alumni interactions in compliance with Kellogg’s alumni office
Performs other duties as assigned.
